What is vaulting?
Vaulting can best be described as gymnastics on the back of a moving horse which is worked on a circle under the control of a lunger.
In vaulting a rider:
- develops rhythm, co-ordination and flexibility.
- improves balance, strength, poise and grace.
- learns to move in harmony with the horse in a safe structured environment.
- grows in confidence and self-esteem.
- learns the fun of working as part of a team.
