A Typical Day At Camp

 

8:00 - 9:00 Breakfast, tidying rooms, discussing day's agenda

9:00 - 9:30 Clean stalls and groom horses (day campers arrive)

9:30 - 11:30 Tack up and head out to the arena for riding lessons

11:30 - 12:00 Groom, water and feed horses

12:00 - 1:30 Lunch, theory, safety videos and activities

1:30 - 3:00 Tack up and head out to the arena for vaulting lessons

3:00 - 4:00 Grooming, braiding, stall work (day campers get picked up)

4:00 - 5:00 Free time (badminton, volleyball, croquet, board games and of  course  kittens)

3:00 - 5:00 ESL riders have language classes

5:00 - 6:00 Supper

6:00 - 7:00 Walk to the shore with the dogs to collect beach glass and shells (one of many activities)

7:00 - 8:00 Movie time (horse movies) or board games

8:00 - 9:00 Snack time and/or campfire then showers and bed

(Except for riding lessons and language classes the above times are fairly flexible)
